Job Description THE MISSION
Under the authority of the director, the person holding the position ensures the well-being, health and safety of the children entrusted to him, and supports them in their overall development.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the educational program of the Ministère de la Famille du Québec and the educational application of the Garderie
Establish a meaningful affective relationship with each of the children in their group
Execute the educational intervention process; observation, planning and organization, educational action, reflection-feedback
Encourage the establishment of partnership relations with parents
Participate in the creation of an environment conducive to the adoption of healthy lifestyles
Support the development of the identity of the children entrusted to it
Implement educational strategies conducive to the development of children's social and emotional skills
Encourage active play through fun and challenging experiences
Support a healthy relationship with food in children
Establish collaborative relationships with colleagues, resource people and other partners
Reflect critically on their practice with a view to continuously improving their professional skills.
Organize the material and prepare the physical environment so that each moment of life in the daycare is lived harmoniously
Design, plan, organize, animate and evaluate daily educational activities
Welcoming children and their parents
Observe the children and record the observations in writing for the purposes of analysis and interpretation as well as the creation of a file assigned to each child
Observe children to identify learning or behavioral difficulties
Execute all routine and transitional activities: arrival, undressing, snack, meal, nap, hygiene, dressing, departure, etc.
Intervene, if necessary, with regard to the behavior of children
Collaborate in the application of intervention plans for children with special needs
Record information for parents in the Communication Booklet
Keeping their premises clean and tidy and ensuring that their game equipment is in good condition
Administer medications, if necessary, according to medical prescriptions and parental instructions
Participate in the pre-entry meeting and the 2 annual pedagogical days
Update their professional skills by participating in the educational development offered by the establishment

YOUR CAREER AND EXPERTISE
DEEJE diploma, to be recognized in Quebec as a qualified professional, you will have to carry out a comparative evaluation of your diplomas obtained outside Quebec by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration of Quebec.
Or a minimum equivalent of two college years in early childhood education, which is equivalent to an applied or fundamental license in child education in Tunisia (other diplomas or training refrain)
First aid certificate adapted to early childhood including a section on the management of severe allergies, less than 3 years old (You will have to retake the training in Quebec) Online training.
Proof of no criminal record dating back less than 3 months.
OUR CUSTOMER'S OFFER
Start of employment from June 1, 2023 (or as soon as people have their visa)
Full-time employment (CDI type)
Schedule: between 32 and 40 hours per week, over four or five days, in a period from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Salary between $18.52 and $28.60 / hour, depending on qualifications and experience (Validated during interviews)
8 to 10 days of illness or for personal reasons / year
2 weeks vacation per year; 3 weeks after 3 years of continuous service
