| Job Description | JOB OFFER As a conventional machinist, you will have to transform raw metal parts (steel) in different components according to the customer's plans and/or requests. You will have to operate the conventional machines, to read and interpret drawings (not technical plans). You work under the supervision of the workshop manager in a dynamic and modern environment. Tasks : - Produce the parts in accordance with the requests; - Carry out the assembly and installation of conventional machines; - Operate conventional machines of all kinds (lathe, milling machine, grinder, drill, boring, polishing, etc.); - Perform minor maintenance of conventional machines; - Use metrology instruments properly; - Disassemble, clean and reassemble hydraulic components (cylinders) - Detect and correct visible defects such as scratches, chipping, corrosion by carrying out simple deburring and cosmetic polishing operations. Recommend repairs or replacement of components. Inform the customer; - Ability to perform welding work - Perform portable boring work; - Driving an overhead crane; - Participate in tenders; - Comply with occupational health and safety standards; - Notify the foreman of the material needs; - Participate, as needed, in various continuous improvement projects; - All other related tasks. Requirements and working conditions: - Hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in machining or the equivalent with a minimum 5 years of experience in machining, knowledge of semi-digital an asset; - Methodical and meticulous; - Spirit of initiative, autonomy and good judgment; - Good manual dexterity; - Good sense of organization; - Knowledge of the agricultural and forestry environment, an asset. - Oriented towards the result and the client; - Mechanical ability. - Comply with health and safety standards; - Sense of teamwork.
