| Job Description | Job Description Be the central pillar between all the stakeholders involved in the development of the same construction project. Optimizing the allocation of resources in order to arrive at an optimal solution. Harmonize customer requirements and needs with supplier realities and technical or human constraints while systematically ensuring the quality and profitability of current projects. As a Project Technician / Detailer you will, under the responsibility of the Director of Technical Services, the Technician / Project Manager / Detailer is responsible for: Technical preparation of reinforcing steel laying plans according to industry standards and customer requirements Plan deliveries to construction sites according to the deadlines provided Manage any change and propose solutions as needed Produce the detailed order forms necessary for the processing of steel in the factory Maintain regular contact with the client and other project stakeholders. Required skills Very good knowledge of plan reading (structure and architecture) Proficiency in Autocad software and knowledge of the Office suite Experience in concrete and reinforcement structures (an asset) Project management experience (an asset) Functional English (spoken and written) Required training Training in technical drawing (DEP) or in civil engineering technique (DEC) Desired qualities Be able to work on several projects at the same time Knowing how to plan / organize and manage your priorities Rigor and autonomy Interpersonal communication skills and a good team spirit Sense of negotiation Stress resistance |
