Job Description Position Description
A residence is seeking a care attendant to assist residents with their activities of daily living. In addition, the attendant will be required to assist residents with hygiene, medication, and comfort care.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
─ Assisting and providing resident hygiene and comfort care according to the work plan and needs;
─ Taking notes on any changes in the residents' health and reporting any changes to the work team;
─ Supporting and assisting residents with their activities of daily living, including meeting their needs and according to the specifics of the care plan;
─ Participating in maintaining a quality living environment for residents (housekeeping, disinfection);
─ Administering medication according to the medication administration sheet;
─ Assisting with meal preparation and serving;
─ Perform any other related tasks.
Employment Contract Conditions
─ One-year renewable contract
Requirements
─ Professional training (Professional Technician Certificate) as a personal support worker, nursing assistant, or caregiver, or a college nursing assistant program;
─ Training in the Principles of Safe Movement of Beneficiaries (PDSB);
─ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training;
*Possibility of completing these training courses upon your arrival in Quebec, Canada.

Salary
─ $22.50/hour
─ Overtime: $30.50/hour
Schedule
─ 30 to 40 hours per week
Required: One weekend out of three with a day shift (with two night shifts during the week) or one weekend out of two with a night shift
─ Schedules vary according to needs. Here are the possible time slots:
Weekdays:
Morning – 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Evening – 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Night – 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Weekends:
Day – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Night – 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
