| Job Description | Position: DevOps System Administrator Location: Quebec or Ontario, Canada Employment Type: Full-time Languages Required: French & English Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment. As a DevOps System Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and ensuring the stability and performance of production systems. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, IT teams, and management to enable seamless integration and deployment. Responsibilities: • Manage and automate cloud infrastructure and servers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • Design, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure-as-code (IaC). • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of infrastructure systems. • Work closely with software development teams to improve the deployment process. • Automate server and infrastructure management tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Troubleshoot, resolve performance issues, and implement system monitoring solutions. • Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation. • Collaborate with security teams to ensure the secure deployment of services. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5 years of experience in system administration or DevOps roles. • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef). • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and automation tools. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios. • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. • Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps, etc.) are a plus.
