| Job Description | JOB TITLE USED IN THE COMPANY • Fabric spreader and cutter, DESCRIPTION OF TASKS The fabric spreader is responsible for spreading the fabric in several layers according to the specifications of the cut sheet. A fabric stretcher can evolve depending on their experience and seniority, to the role of cutter. The cutter is responsible for using the robot/cutter to cut the multiple layers of fabric according to the garment pattern. There is no manual cutting with a knife or scissors. The employees of this department work on the pieces of clothing which are then intended to be assembled and then sold to our customers. LANGUAGE LEVEL REQUIRED Spoken French: Intermediate French oral comprehension: Intermediate Written French: Intermediate French read: Intermediate REQUIRED TRAINING • Secondary V REQUIRED SKILLS • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fabric stretcher • Sense of organization • Good attention to detail • Good knowledge of fabrics • Ability to read and interpret instructions • The ability to work in a team • Capable of lifting rolls of fabric up to approximately 60 pounds.
