| Job Description | Position Summary: The Agricultural Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair and servicing of John Deere tractors. The role involves solving complex mechanical problems, accurately identifying faults and implementing effective solutions to keep equipment running smoothly. Position Responsibilities: • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on John Deere machines, • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's standards and specifications, • Use specialized tools and equipment for repairs, • Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used, • Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality service, • Respect safety standards and work protocols in force. Required Skills • Prior experience in mechanics, in the repair of heavy vehicles or John Deere agricultural machinery, • Mastery of the mechanical and electrical systems of John Deere equipment, • Skills in diagnosis and problem solving, • Ability to work independently while being an effective member of a team, • Knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used in the repair of heavy equipment, Training and certification • Diploma in automobile mechanics or equivalent diploma, • Certifications or specific training on John Deere equipment (an asset). Remuneration and Benefits: • Hourly wage of $26, • Works 40 hours/week |
