Job Description | Main mission : Manage all workshop functions, define the organization with a view to performance and continuous improvement. He/she manages his/her activity while respecting the constraints of performance, quality, costs, safety and deadlines. He/she participates in the development of the industrial strategy, he/she proposes performance indicators to evaluate the proper functioning of the production chain in consultation with management. This, in compliance with the general policy of the company and the rules of ethics specific to its profession. Main tasks : Become familiar with the data necessary for manufacturing: • Compliance with the instructions given in the DT and the prototype • Installation of the chain: machines and accessories (guides and feet) • Ensure the launch of production • Check the assembly ranges • Create models and TDS • Note the points of vigilance and the specificities of the models • Validate the balance, the objectives • Offer simple and effective monitoring supports Position operator stations and machines: • Check the necessary settings and adjustments • Implementation of machines according to balancing Supervise production: • Monitor the activity of the operators • Detect gaps and bottlenecks and quickly find solutions related to material, equipment or personnel • Appreciate the appearance of the operators and react to keep the pace of production • Formalize chain inputs and outputs • Identify, analyze and take corrective actions to hazards • Improve efficiency by setting objectives • Alert in the event of a problem and chain stoppage Organization and planning of production: • Ensure a pleasant and secure working environment as well as functional • Supervise the implementation of channels • Ensure good coordination between the different services • Plan production launches • Supervise deliveries according to deadlines Control and adjust the degree of quality to the requested level: • Raise operators’ awareness of self-monitoring • Carry out checks during manufacturing • Carry out the in-line check • Organize final control at the end of the chain Management of operators: • Integrate new operators • Train operators in the gestures of different operations • Arrange workstations if necessary • Promote versatility through training actions • Manage absences, holidays, planning, etc. • Organize integration and training • Anticipate and resolve conflicts Secondary stains: • Sourcing accessories (guides and feet) • Stock up on supplies Evaluation criteria : • Knowledge of the garment manufacturing process • Mastery of reading and using a technical manufacturing file • Know how to adjust and maintain any type of sewing machine • Know the criteria of quality, hygiene, health and safety, the basics of labor legislation • His ability to communicate and work in a team • His availability and commitment to the teams and management • Their degree of personal involvement, their strength of proposal and their ability to make decisions in collaboration with other teams and management • His commitment to wanting to make the business project successful • Application of the rules and general policy set by management Required Skills : • Organized, exemplary and rigorous • Responsiveness and stress management • Leadership, facilitator and coordinator qualities • Management skills and ability to motivate teams • Analytical and decision-making qualities, tactical mind • Sense of responsibility, loyalty and integrity • Honesty, sincerity, dynamism and enthusiasm |
