Job Description Refrigeration technicians (service and/or installation)

Main responsibilities
• Diagnose and carry out repairs, if necessary, on commercial refrigeration systems, such as food supermarkets, cold stores, convenience stores and small businesses.
• Follow the electrical system control sequence to determine operating problems.
• Carry out inspections at points of sale, to ensure preventive maintenance by checking components to ensure the proper functioning of the installations.
• Handle customer calls for emergencies on weekends and week evenings, according to a monthly schedule established in rotation between service technicians.
SKILLS
• Post-secondary training in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of service experience on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Very good command of spoken and written French (communications with customers and writing service reports).
• Knowledge of computer control systems, verification devices and different testers; knowledge of air conditioning is an asset.
• Be able to handle different types of refrigerants; knowledge of Micro Thermo, Danfoss or CPC control systems is an asset.
• Master the following elements: Parallel Pack technology (multi-compressors), independent systems with Remote type condenser (remote), CO² technology.
• Be in good physical condition, have good lifting capacity and tolerate working at height (ladders are used on certain occasions).

Working conditions
Number of positions to fill: 4
Employment status: Permanent contract, full-time
Schedule: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Annual salary including bonuses: From $80,000 CAD, according to the agreement of the Commission de la construction du Québec.
