The Tunisian Agency Technical Cooperation commemorates “The UN Day for South-South Cooperation”

12 September 2023 : The Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT) commemorates today 12 September 2023, the United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation on the theme “Solidarity, Equity and Partnership: Unlocking South-South Cooperation to Achieve the SDGs”. In this regard, the ATCT has been working since its inception in 1972 to express the national will to share Tunisian knowledge, successful experiences and best practices with the countries of the South.

Believing in the importance of its mission to promote South-South cooperation,  ATCT continues to consolidate its efforts and better serve countries wishing to draw on the Tunisian experience and benefit from its expertise in areas where our country has managed to develop proven solutions such as health, education, higher education, vocational training, water management, agriculture, aquaculture and environment.

To date, Key achievements include the implementation of more than 100 technical assistance projects in various areas of sustainable development and the dispatch of more than 2,000 senior experts. The ATCT also provided  capacity building programs to more than 5,000 executives from African and Arab countries.

The ATCT remains open to any regional and international initiative aimed at promoting South-South cooperation in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
